3-adic

3-adic is a choreography based on Bauhaus artist Oskar Schlemmer’s particular conception of the body/space.  The piece examines how the space is occupied, drawn by the body, and how individuals (a triad of women, in this case) move in an effort to find their own place.  Marked by the geometrics of the stage lights, the spatial boundaries created are understood as an abstract representation of where we are, where we go, and what we leave behind.
